If you turn the imagination loose like a hunting dog, it will often return with a bird in its mouth.

EXPERIENCE A BIRD DOG LIKE NO OTHER
Falling in love with the Brittany:
|
s It started in 2000 with my first Brittany, Cheyenne. While watching a dog trial, I was drawn to the intensity of one particular breed. After asking some questions at the trial, I went home and started my research. As an avid hunter for most of my life, I wanted to select a dog that would be a natural in the field and a member of the family in the home. Now, over twenty years later, my dedication to this breed has grown with the six Brittanys I have trained and hunted with. Our first seven litters have been placed in loving forever homes. Our next litter is planned for late 2024 - spring 2025.

The Brittany
The Brittany is a breed of gun dog bred primarily for bird hunting. Brittanys were developed in the Brittany province of France between the 17th and 19th centuries, becoming officially recognized early in the 20th. Although it is often referred to as a Spaniel, the breed's working characteristics are more akin to those of a pointer or setter. In 1982, ‘Spaniel’ was dropped from the Brittany name in America.
What to love about a Brittany… Brittanys are medium-sized and athletic, agile and light on their feet. They love vigorous exercise and athletic activities in the great outdoors. Especially good with people, they are also good with other animals. They are always willing to please and excel in a variety of competitive activities due to their inquisitive sniffing. The Brittany that gets a chance to hunt is the happiest Brittany of all! |
